• Usage data: pages visited, evaluation activity, and basic device or browser metadata.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is only used for things directly tied to running the competition and improving the platform.

• Authenticating you and protecting your account.
• Running submissions, evaluator assignments, and result calculations.
• Showing leaderboards, scores, and feedback to the right audience.
• Diagnosing bugs, improving performance, and preventing abuse.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences.

• Session tokens for authentication.
• UI preferences such as theme (light or dark).
• We do not sell tracking data or use third-party advertising cookies.

We do not sell your personal data. Limited sharing only happens for the platform to function.

• With evaluators assigned to your submission, for review purposes only.
• With administrators of the competition for moderation and oversight.

• Passwords are hashed before storage; we never see your plain password.
